Terms of Service

1. Agreement and operator

These terms govern your use of moat.one and Moat’s services. Moat is operated by Dev Vora, based in India. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. You must be at least 18 and have authority to act for any business on whose behalf you use Moat.

2. Current service and demo limitations

The current release is a free interactive product demo. All reports, agents’ findings, payment examples, email drafts and provider connections are simulated. Clicking a demo approval does not send a real email. Choosing a demo subscription does not start a trial, create a subscription or charge you.

Live website crawling, Google authorization, connected-provider reports and real outbound actions are not enabled in this release. Feature descriptions explain the intended product and do not promise availability by a particular date. We may change, pause or discontinue demo features.

3. Authorized use

Use Moat only for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, disrupt the service, impersonate someone else or access accounts or properties without permission. Do not enter secrets or personal customer data into the demo. If connected services become available, connect only accounts and properties you are authorized to use.

4. Google and other third-party services

Future optional integrations will require separate authorization and may be subject to third-party terms, API availability, rate limits and your account permissions. Moat is independent of Google and is not endorsed or certified by Google. Planned Google Analytics and Search Console access is read-only. Your use of Google remains subject to Google’s terms.

You will be able to remove Google authorization through your Google Account. Provider disconnection and stored-data deletion are different actions; the applicable processes will be described before live integrations launch.

5. Reports and decisions

Sample findings and automated recommendations can be incomplete or wrong. Review any report, proposed message or recommendation before acting. Moat does not provide legal, financial or professional advice and does not guarantee traffic growth, revenue, search rankings, uptime or the accuracy of third-party data. You remain responsible for your website, business decisions and authorized communications.

6. Fees and future subscriptions

The current public demo is free and accepts no payments. Displayed plan names, allowances or example financial figures are illustrative. If paid services are introduced, the price, billing interval, renewal, cancellation and refund terms will be presented before purchase and require your agreement. These terms do not authorize a charge or automatic renewal.

7. Intellectual property and your information

You retain your rights to information you provide and to your own website content. Moat’s software, visual design and original content belong to their respective owners. You may use the website for its intended purpose; this does not transfer ownership of Moat’s software or branding. Third-party trademarks remain the property of their owners.

When you send information for support, you permit us to use it as necessary to respond and operate the service, subject to the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having permission to provide that information.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains the information used by the current site, the intended Google permissions and your privacy choices. We do not sell Google user data or use it to train AI models.

9. Availability and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the demo is provided “as is” and “as available”, without a promise of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits or lost opportunities arising from reliance on simulated data. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.

10. Suspension and ending use

You may stop using Moat at any time. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security threats or legal requirements. You can clear locally stored preferences through your browser and contact us about deleting support information.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where you live. Please contact us first about a dispute so we can try to resolve it. Nothing here removes a right to bring a claim before a court or authority available under applicable law.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service develops. Updated terms will appear here with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. Questions, complaints and support requests can be sent to Dev Vora at devvora08@gmail.com.
